Sony Working On the Vita Price Cut! But only for Next Year!Shuhei Yoshida told in an interview that Sony engineers working how to reduce the cost of the Vita!
But you have to wait the price cut until 2013!

Eurogamer made a short interview with Shuhei Yoshida, the Sony Worldwide Studios boss.
The main subject of the interview was the Vita and it's price and the games for the new platform.
Sony released the new Vita last year in December in Japan and early this year in North America and Europe.

If you read our Japan Chart and check the American and Europe charts you can see that the Vita is not going well.
Gamers have two problems

  1. Price
  2. Not Enough Games

Yoshida for the Eurogamer said that Sony engineers already working how to reduce the price of the Vita.

"People like cheap or free," he said. "Of course, cost reduction is one area our engineering team is working on. But we just launched the platform earlier this year. It takes time to do so.

And the next question was simple:

So, no price cut this year? "No," Yoshida replied. "It's too early."

Yoshida said in this year Sony focus for more Vita Bundle package like the upcoming LittleBigPlanet Vita and the only Vita version, special Assassin's Creed III: Liberation which release the white Vita also outside of Japan!
